Global Health Archive

Due to the popularity of the Global Health Database, we are now offering a trial of the Global Health Archive run by the Centre for Agricultural Bioscience International (CABI).

According to their literature, the archive "is a fully searchable modern database of research dating from 1910 through to 1972, containing 800,000 records on public health, tropical and communicable diseases, nutrition, parasitology, entomology and mycology."

Their aim is to help researchers "avoid repeating the research of the past, gain a broader understanding of the historical context in which they work, reach previously difficult-to-find or lost material, find references that were previously inaccessible, ill gaps in their existing knowledge and understand how scientific and cultural activities have changed."

If you would like to be part of this trial and gain access to the database, please contact the library for a user name and password.

Please note this offer is only available to staff and students of Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine.
