National Library for Health Offers Infections Specialist Library

The NHSNLH's Infections Specialist Library is a database of governmentally sourced articles, clustered under a range of topics which could be a useful first port of call for anyone seeking clear, well supported information to help build a working knowledge of infectious diseases.

The aim is to provide a "convenient and comprehensive access to the best available evidence on the investigation, prevention, treatment and control of infectious diseases from a clinical and commissioning perspective".

The Infections A-Z is a good place to get a flavour of what's on offer, then the side bar which clusters everything within the life cycle of an infection. Keep an eye on dates, though. The search results are not sorted chronologically.
